Listing presentations are a crucial part of winning the listing. You have to convince the homeowner you’re capable of getting the job done. It’s about building a relationship and earning trust.
And you can’t do that with a canned listing presentation. You need to reach the homeowner and show them you can meet their individual needs. Here a few tips for crafting a great listing presentation.
1.) Personalize It-
Like we already said, your listing presentation needs to be customer specific. Learn about the homeowners by talking and listening to them and address their needs in your presentation.
Show them how you’ve sold similar homes in the past. Let them see you’ve been successful selling a home like theirs.
Speak about houses that have recently sold nearby to let them know you’ve done your homework about the local market.
2.) Make It Professional-
Don’t make a boring PowerPoint and call it done. You can do better than that. And with about a zillion real estate agents out there, you really have to do better than that.
There’s all kinds of great software available for you to make a listing presentation with some pop to it. If you don’t know how to do this stuff, or are intimidated by the idea, you need to get over it.
Figure it out, or find someone who can teach you how to get the job done with some modern style. You want to show your potential client you have some style and confidence.
3.) Highlight Your Skills-
Have you got a good record for selling homes quickly? Do you have a considerable network of fellow agents to help find buyers? What is it about you that makes you stand out?
Be sure to let your potential clients know what they’re getting if they decide to list with you. If you’re really good at your job, let them know it.
