That often translates to very little time for yourself. Which means getting to the gym and making your fitness a priority can be challenging. But, it’s not impossible with a bit of planning and some creativity.

1.) Lose The Chair-
Recent research shows sitting is actually bad for you. Try a standing desk instead. Standing burns more calories, keeps you more alert, and prevents sedentary habits. You can also take advantage of the fact that you’re already standing and do a few knee bends or jumping jacks every now and then.
Every little bit helps.
Even a daily simple stroll around the block can make a tremendous impact on your health. You can also make time after showing to explore the neighborhood a bit on foot.
It’s not only good for you physical health, walking is also a great way to relieve stress.
3.) Plan Your Meals-
Start putting real effort into planning healthy lunches to take to work. Taking control of this one simple area of your day can help you avoid pitfalls like the drive through.
It may seem daunting, but it’s really not, and it’s worth the effort.
4.) Water And Snacks-
Start chugging a gallon a day. It keeps you hydrated and a jug of water on hand can help you pass on the soda at three o’clock. Keeping some healthy snack options on hand like nuts, apples, and carrots can also help you avoid the vending machine.
Make fitness a non-negotiable priority by dedicating to doing something active every work day. Be it that walk, hitting the gym for thirty minutes in the morning or after work, or taking a bike ride with the kids, make the commitment.
