Using LinkedIn to network for your real estate business has become a great new way to generate leads. Here are some tips for setting up your LinkedIn page to get the most out of it.
Get Your Profile Right- Your profile is your first impression, so make sure it’s a good one. Use a profile pic you would be proud to put on a business card. List your job title and your particular skill set. Make certain you’ve filled out your profile in its entirety, and make sure you’ve spelled everything right. Let people know you’re good at what you do and that you’re excited about your job.
Put Yourself Out There- Like all social media, LinkedIn is all about making connections with people. Start building your connections by reaching out to people you know first. Reach out to friends, family, and co-workers for starters.
Participate In Groups- LinkedIn has groups of all kinds, based on all kinds of affiliations. Join groups related to real estate and get involved in conversations. Comment on people’s input. It’s a great way to get your name out and build relationships. If you see someone in your group you find interesting, get to know them. If you can’t seem to find a group to your liking, you can always start one up.
