Benefits of a Career with Big Block Realty: Social Media Training

There are many reasons to consider a career as a Realtor with Big Block Realty, California’s leading 100% Commission Brokerage.

One of these is the specialized training we offer our agents.

This applies to topics across the board, but one in particular is social media.

Social media is a big part of building a brand or business and it simply can’t be ignored.

Some people might consider themselves savvy when it comes to social media, but if you are feeling a little less confident, we’re here to help!

We want to equip you with the social media skills so that you can effectively use this marketing medium to reach more customers, strengthen relationships with current customers and close more sales.

Below are a few of the most popular social media platforms and some quick and easy ways you can use them in your real estate career.

1. Facebook –

Probably the most popular social media platform, Facebook is great for real estate professionals because it connects you to your audience. As this platform grows, the potential for connection grows with it.

Think about Facebook as a way to share your content, including current listings, photos of homes, and satisfied customers.

2. Twitter –

Twitter is more of a conversation and a way you can connect with friends as well as individuals you haven’t met. You can find conversations about topics that interest you and jump right in.

Use Twitter to promote your content and establish yourself as a leader in your industry by sharing your expert opinions.

3. YouTube

Videos are a popular medium for promotion and the real estate industry has embraced that! Now that most phones have decent video cameras, you can shoot quick videos and upload them to YouTube as a way to promote a home or property.

You can also shoot longer, informative videos about your business or as a way to give customers an introduction to what you do.

4. Pinterest

Pinterest is a virtual bulletin board that allows users to gather images from the web and organize them into categories.

Since there are so many visual aspects of real estate, Pinterest can work to your advantage as a real estate professional.

Here at Big Block Realty, we believe in investing in our agents’ success. We are California’s leading 100% commission real estate brokerage and as part of our team, you will keep your entire commission while still enjoying all the perks of working with an industry leader such as Big Block.

Real Estate Success Tips: Growing Your Personal Brand

Some real estate brokers claim their agents are entrepreneurs, but from the way things are set up, it feels like many actually operate as employees.

Here at Zero Broker Split, California’s leading 100% commission real estate brokerage, our agents truly are entrepreneurs!

As entrepreneurs, it’s vital that you think about your personal brand. A good brand shows what you do, who you do it with and where you do it.

Our broker at Big Block is committed to providing our agents the education and professional development opportunities they need to have success.

That’s why we wanted to share some success tips for developing your own personal brand here on the blog.

1. Target a Niche Market

One way to build your real estate brand is to target a niche market. Some examples of niche markets to target when building your real estate brand is baby boomers, first-time home buyers, or investment buyers.

If you can build a strong brand that speaks to a particular niche (or several different niche market segments), you can increase your opportunities to engage with clients and make those big sales.

2. Go where your customers are

After you identify and target your niche market, it’s important to identify where they are so you can begin building a presence there too.

If your niche market is on Facebook, you should build a strong Facebook presence. By finding out where you niche is, you can begin communicating with the market in a way that resonates.

3. Have Integrity

No matter what specific brand attributes you aspire to have, at the end of the day real estate is a business of people. Without integrity you will never be able to take your real estate brand where you want it to go.

Demonstrate integrity and your clients will recognize that. All the branding and marketing in the world can’t make up for something as simple as being honest and upstanding.

A career in real estate allows you to leverage your potential in a way that no other industry or field can. If you’d like to learn more about a career with Big Block Realty, we’d love to hear from you!

Keep 100% of Your Commission with Big Block Realty

When you commit to a career in life, you want to get as much out of it as you put in. That’s why here at Big Block Realty, we are California’s leading 100% Commission real estate brokerage.

We are committed to our team of agents and want to see them succeed. Part of that comes from giving them the chance to keep 100% of their commissions.

Other California real estate brokers might take 20% for their brokerage free plus 5% for a franchise fee. This can really add up!

Real estate agents who work with Big Block Realty keep all their commissions plus enjoy world class training and continued education opportunities plus broker/attorney support.

Can other real estate agents say that? Probably not.

If you had seven closed transactions that totaled $70,000 in Gross Commission, your commission with Big Block Realty would be $67,000. That’s compared to the less than $54,000 you might get working with another real estate company.

For this example alone your profit increase working with Big Block Realty would be $13,000. Now consider if you had 50 closed transactions. The difference in income would be nearly $100,000! Can you afford to let that just slip through your fingers?

Why on earth anyone would choose another real estate brokerage is beyond us, but if you still need some convincing, we’d love to talk to you!

How to Help Home Buyers Find the Right Home

In your career as a real estate professional, you will work with many clients. It’s important to help them find what they want. Whether clients are first-time home buyers or more seasoned real estate veterans looking to trade up, a good real estate agent can help make the home buying process a positive experience.

how to help homebuyersIn order for a real estate professional to help his or her clients find what they are looking for, you must first know what that is.

Recently, the National Association of Home Builders released its findings from a survey that was aimed at determining key concerns of home buyers.

The study is a helpful tool for real estate agents because it illustrates what home buyers are looking for in homes and properties they are considering.

One key bit of data from the research shows that first time home buyers have very different concerns and needs than home buyers looking to trade up.

As a realtor with Big Block Realty, this information can help you depending on what your client’s current situation might be.

If you are a real estate agent working with a first time home buyer, you might want to consider the following:

Price –

First time home buyers named price as a key factor in the home buying process. If you are working with a first time home buyer, ask them to honestly consider what price range they can afford.

In doing this, you can help them find homes and properties that are within their budget and avoid looking at any properties that are too far-reaching for their price point.

Proximity –

We’ve all heard the saying “Location, location, location,” but this is especially important to first time home buyers. Some people are willing to make a longer commute but many want to live as close to their jobs as possible.

Take this into consideration when deciding which homes and properties to show a potential buyer. If the location isn’t right, there’s a good chance the house won’t be either.

According to the study, 38% of first time buyers ranked price as the most important factor while 38% cited location as the primary determinant.

Perhaps you are working with a client known as a trade up buyer. Here are some issues to keep in mind:

Home Design –

Trade up buyers, according to the NAHB research, are concerned about a home’s design. This is probably due to the fact that they have already lived in other homes and learned what they want or don’t want from a design stand-point.

Sometimes a home can have great bones and just need some updating, but if a buyer doesn’t love the key elements of a home, he or she probably never will.

As a real estate professional, it’s important that you help steer your clients in the right direction…toward homes and properties you know they will love!

Neighborhood Characteristics –

This is another area where trade up buyers seem to know exactly what they want. It’s probably due in part to the fact they have already lived in various neighborhoods and they know what does and doesn’t work for them.

Maybe they are trading up because of an addition to the family and are looking for a more family-friendly neighborhood.

Regardless, as a real estate professional, you can help them find the neighborhood and property that will meet their needs.

36% of trade up buyers responded that the design of the home was their prevailing concern while 28% cited the design and look of the neighborhood as most important.

Good luck out there, you are going to kick butt!Neighborhood houses big block realty
